It is unfortunate that women find it hard to stay with a public accounting career. I know a girl who is finishing up her senior year as an accounting major, and I hope she doesn't encounter this problem. I think that this survey is a great idea; hopefully it will unravel some of the mysteries behind why women leave this field. Hopefully with more resources like this, we can make accounting a field that women feel just as comfortable in as men.
