Here's a quote from today's WSJ, talking about the impending sale of Cit's Smith Barney brokerage to Morgan Stanley. Note the info about Ms Cruz: "NEW MORGAN STANLEY TIES FOR PANDIT A joint venture would reestablish ties between Citigroup Chief Executive Vikram Pandit and Morgan Stanley, which he left in 2005 after being passed over for a promotion in favor of fixed-income chief Zoe Cruz. She had faulted Pandit for being unwilling to take enough risk." Got that? This idiot was encouraging other execs to take MORE RISK even as Wall Street's absurdly unhedged risks were imploding.
